Included in the product range of our Energy Department are among other things the supply of electric materials, components and accessories for overland power lines (LV/MV/HV), transformer stations, distribution networks as well as for hydroelectric power plants belonging to state and private energy utilities, construction and commercial companies and industrial companies in all kinds of industries, hospitals, airports. Reparation, measurements and service in this sector can also be executed by our local companies.

Additionally, we carry out EPC projects in the field of LV/MV and HV power lines, substations, hydro power plants and solar plants.

Water

Our Water Department supplies material, equipment and components to water utilities, construction companies and other industries.

These deliveries include among other items water pipes made of PVC, PE, HDPE and DI for drinking water supply and waste water disposal, pp-water meters for private households as well as all kinds of valves and water pumps.

Interconnection Facilities for the Mubuga PV project in Burundi

EPC project to connect power supply from 7,5MW PV plant Mubuga to the grid. Part of this project was design, supply and construction of 30kV transmission line including steel towers, construction of delivery station and extension of existing substation ZEGE, as well as incorporation into existing SCADA system.


Transport & Loading Logistic and Installation of a Power Transformers 15 MVA for HPP Mukungwa/Rwanda


Rehabilitation & doubling the energie power performance of Hydro Power Plant in Burundi (Buhiga)

Working partnership between the companies Achelis and Ossberger for the upgrade of the existing hydropower turbine and installation of a second turbine with the same output capacity in Rwanda in order to double the capacity of the hydropower station. The project included construction work, supply of materials, and the installation and commissioning of the turbines.


EPC contract for electrification of Janja Area in Gakenke District in Rwanda

Erection of 56,2km MV overhead transmission and 61km LV distribution lines, including 42 transformer stations and 3670 customer connection. Execution of contract within 15 months.


Reparation and Rehabilitation of four 15MV Power Transformers in HPP Ruzizi II/DRC

Main part was repair of reserve transformers (year of production) to reduce risk of power cuts for the countries Rwanda, Congo and Burundi. Furthermore, three connected transformers have been rehabilitated, repaired and re-connected step by step.

Construction of 4 overland lines in Rwanda

Supply and installation of material for the construction of overland lines in 4 industrial estates in Rwanda, measuring up to 14 km in length. Draft planning and demand analysis for medium-voltage transmission lines and low-voltage distribution lines, supply of the required materials, installation of the plant, erection of the medium and low-voltage lines, household connections and commissioning.
