To strengthen up out logistics department we are hiring a Specialist Logistics (m/f/d)

Are you a “full-blooded logistician” and looking for a manifold, permanent full-time or part-time employment (as from 35 hours per week) in a collegial team? YOUR TASKS

  • Processing projects to optimize the supply chain from loading to unloading in compliance with legal regulations and customs guidelines
  • Calculation of costs and preparation of offers
  • Direct communication with customers, suppliers, authorities and service providers (German/English)
  • Scheduling of national and international land transport, including special transport
  • Cargo space bookings for air and sea freight
  • Preparation and checking of shipping documents that comply with the sales contract and / or letter of credit
  • Billing of forwarding services and checking of freight invoices
  • Processing customer complaints and damage reports and arranging for damage settlement

YOUR PROFILE

  • Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally freight forwarding / logistics sector
  • At least one year of professional experience, ideally in project logistics
  • Very good German and English language skills, any other foreign language, esp. French, is advantageous
  • You enjoy working independently, proactively and think in a results-oriented manner
  • Knowledge of Atlas and customs clearance desirable
  • Ideally, you are already worked with initial experience ERP systems (ALPHAPLAN)
  • You are a absolute team player and are able to keep the overview in hectic times

YOUR TASKS

  • Processing enquiries and international tenders
  • Preparing offers, including cost calculations, discount and payment terms negotiations with suppliers and customers
  • Project management: order and contract review, feasibility check of customer requirements, coordination and processing orders, order creation, monitoring delivery times
  • Preparing shipments in coordination with our logistics department
  • Invoice verification and issuing
  • Data maintenance of offer and order data in the ERP-System
  • Maintaining and expanding manufacturer contacts

YOUR PROFIL

  • Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship and/or Economics degree (B.A.)
  • At least one year of professional experience, ideally in project business with international tenders
  • Very good written and spoken English skills, any other foreign language is advantageous
  • You have a good technical understanding, ideally around​​ Healthcare/Medical Technology
  • You have strong communication and organizational skills, and you are competent in negotiating
  • You enjoy working independently, proactively and think in a results-oriented manner
  • Occasional travel brings you joy
  • You are an absolute team player and can keep an overview in hectic times
